English is tough

One of the most common written errors I see is the use of "loose" when the author means "lose". Waste of time to parse.

 

Nature-in-a-garage

A beetle flew to the wall and seemed to try to grab hold. Didn't work. Fell down. Spider web. Much tinier spider. Excited, deftly navigating its web scaffolding above the beetle, which was trying to find a way out. But stuck. Little spider went to town on big beetle. I had to go.

 

Creaky knees

What goes into a cat burglar's preparation? Stretching? A good meal to avoid noisy stomach rumbling? What about creaky knees and other joints? If you're skulking around someone's yard or inside the house, you've got to be mindful of the ol' sports injuries and arthritis.
